Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020129 BuildID: 2002012903 When running Mozilla on Windows XP, the Mozilla title bar and frame around the window (owned by the OS) flash endlessly, as well as the icon in the taskbar. XP uses this to signify that an app's window has changed significantly since the last time the app has had focus, but Mozilla on XP doesn't stop this incessant flashing after giving focus to Mozilla. Note this only applies to the first Mozilla-window - if you create new Mozilla windows (via File -> New Navigator Window), they don't exhibit this problem. This is incredibly annoying - I'm considering going back to IE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run Mozilla on Windows XP. 2. Notice Mozilla's title bar blinks. 3. Give focus to Mozilla. This stops the blinking on all well-behaved Windows programs, except Mozilla. Actual Results: Mozilla's title bar & window border flash annoyingly & indefinitely, even after receiving focus. It's a lot like the blink tag, only in your browser itself instead of on a page. Expected Results: Mozilla's title bar should stop blinking when given the focus.
