Created attachment 8688967 [details] 44.0a2 bottom and 42 top User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0 Build ID: 20151117004023 Steps to reproduce: Used an add-on which uses the "notifications.notify" API Actual results: The notification icon in Firefox version 44.0a2 is larger than in previous Firefox versions such as 43.0b3 Expected results: The icon should not have changed in size (no coding has changed within the add-on)
The icon is clearly not part of the core DOM...

I am new at this so please keep that in mind. So this is not a bug as such which should have been added here, is that correct?
Can you please provide some steps to reproduce and also a testcase to show the problem ?
Have 2 versions of Firefox, one v 44.0a2 and the other 42. Install an add-on which will utilize the notifications.notify API such as HTTPSPATROL. Go to Google.com for example an each Firefox version and you can see the difference. Version 42 will be the correct display of the notification. Also see the images provided for guidance. Please also see the following Forum Discussion on others who are experiencing the same issue: https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/t/add-on-notifications-notify-api-and-firefox-44-0a2/5157

The removal has caused some add-on to change unexpectedly. Can the max-height and max-width be added manually?
