Reproduced using latest Nightly 45.0a1 2015-11-19 under Windows Vista(build id 20151119065326, user Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0) Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Preferences/Search 2. Set Bing the default search engine. 3. Remove other search engine (eg EBay) 4. Select "Restore Default Search Engines" Expected results: The search engine previously removed is brought back to the list, the default search engine should not be changed, in our case remains Bing Actual results: The search engine previously removed is brought back to the list and the default search engine is changed to Google. Note: Issue is not reproducing on Nightly 45.0a1 from 2015-11-17(build id 20151117030242) The scenario is reproducing on Ubuntu 15.04.
