Actual results:

There is no icon for iceweasel in xfce 4.12.

First screenshot :  you can see there is a icon for chromium and not for iceweasel.
Second screenshot : when using alt-tab to change window, iceweasel has an over-sized icon.

If you use an official Firefox binary from:

https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Does that have the same problem?

Have you filed this issue with the package maintainers of iceweasel for the distro you're using? (which isn't clear, but I presume is debian or ubuntu or mint or some flavour thereof)
