>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 45, 32bit, ID 20151120030227 Flash 19.0.0.245
STR:
1. Open private tab (because we want to act like new user every time, to watch the commercials)
2. Open any stream on Twitch which sometimes shows ads. E.g. [http://www.twitch.tv/jendenise]
3. Wait until advertisement starts
Result:
While the advertisement is playing, there's no sound indicator in tab. Probably a Flash bug
Expectations:
The sound indicator should indicate that tab is producing sound
Note:
Some hardcore Twitch users are welcome, because to test this bug we basically need a reliable channel
that broadcasts ads any time of the day.
Also, if this is a Flash bug, this may have been fixed in newer Flash versions.
I forgot to mention that "Tracking Protection" must be disabled. Otherwise there'll be no ads :(
In addition, here's more reliable testcase:
1. Open anime http://www.daisuki.net/anime/watch/GODEATER/Hjd [an advertisement starts immediately]
2. Wait until the actual video starts
Result:
When the ad finished and flash player start a new video, sound indicator disappears from <tab>
Expectations:
Sound indicator should be displayed
Summary: Sound indicator isn't displayed while playing Flash ads on http://www.twitch.tv/ → Sound indicator isn't displayed when Flash player starts to play another video
Once again, to view the ads you should open the link in Private mode with Tracking Protection disabled
Huh. Url mentioned in comment 0 doesn't expose the issue anymore, even on Dev.edition. Apparently Twitch team changed something in their flash player...
Luckily, I found more than one urls which exposing the issue.
1. Open http://www.heatherharman.com/
2. Make sure the music isn't playing
3. Move mouse over the buttons at the top of Flash content
4. Right-click the tab, click "Mute tab" menuitem in context menu
5. Move mouse over the buttons at the top of Flash content
Result:
After Step 3 there's no sound indicator displayed in selected tab.
After Step 5 I still see the sound coming from those buttons in Flash content.
Expectations:
After Step 3 sound indicator should be displayed. After Step 5 there should be no sound.
