Bug 1160506 implemented special handling for large font families under Linux. It would be nice to have automated tests for this functionality but it's difficult to implement without a specific, required configuration. Under various Linux distro, fontconfig is used to "unify" the various subfamilies of Droid Sans. Is there a way we could test this without spitting out false failures when no such configuration exists?
