User Story

The Games team is spearheading a Firefox Hardware Survey, which will ultimately result in a public-facing dashboard summarizing the state of gaming-relevant hardware configurations among the Firefox client population. 

In order to do that, we need to validate that Unified Telemetry contains the appropriate measures that match industry expectations for hardware components.
Bug 1184784 covers whether or not FHR contained measurements appropriate for a gaming-relevant hardware survey. The summary in that bug is that most if not all of those measures would be captured in the environment field in Unified Telemetry. We need to validate the following: 1) Do we have the requested hardware measurements among the opt-out measures of Unified Telemetry? 2) Do the Unified Telemetry measurements match the expectations of the game developer community?
