On my Aries, the vendor library libGLESv2_adreno.so tries to open /sys/class/kgsl/kgsl-3d0/gpuclk which is actually a symlink to /sys/devices/fdb00000.qcom,kgsl-3d0/gpuclk (the kgsl directory is a symlink)
I searched a bit for some source code, but I couldn't find any.
Attached the GDB backtrace when opening is denied.
