Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20151105173914 Steps to reproduce: Go to 'edit' -> 'preferences'. The "B" is underlined as shortcut to use a bookmark for the default page. Doesn't work. Alt-b takes you to the 'Bookmarks' menu at the top, because that also has B as alt-shortcut. Same preferences menu, go to "privacy" -> "Exceptions" (for cookies). Type an address and press alt-a for 'allow'. Doesn't work, it selects all text instead. Perhaps Thunderbird too. Actual results: alt-shortcuts don't work. Alt-shortcut namespace conflict (with main window) now that preferences menu is not a separate window anymore. Expected results: Alt shortcuts work and don't collide with the main window shortcuts.

At the moment, Alt+Shift+<shortcut letter> is required to trigger the action.
