Looking at the minimap on this page we seem to be doing weird things with display port. http://googlecloudplatform.blogspot.ca/2015/12/Google-Cloud-Vision-API-changes-the-way-applications-understand-images.html The display port has many size and orientation changes as you scroll.

I meant "origin changes" and not "orientation changes"

This also an artifact of the displayport changing sizing as you scroll faster, because of the high-mem adjustment. Setting apz.x_skate_highmem_adjust and apz.y_skate_highmem_adjust to 0 should fix that. I'm inclined to close this bug as INVALID since the behaviour you're seeing is by design. If the design is to change then we can do it in bug 1229929 which is effectively the same issue.
