This one is a follow up to "Bug 1145504 - SeaMonkey discovery pane has a blank space at the top of the main content unlike Firefox and Thunderbird", what more or less has been fixed for SM 2.39, see Attachment 8695711 [details] for Bug 1145504. In Bug 1145504 comment #15 Tony Mechelynck found that later versions only show incomplete contents, with SeaMonkey 2.42a1 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.0 from public download area) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/ 45.0 Build 20151111021032, (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit I only see "Recommended for you: Sea Fox. Nothing else. Attached "compare.pdf" shows differences in source code for Menu 'Tools → Add-On Manager → Find Add-Ons' (about:addons) a) NEW and OS=ALL due to Bug 1145504 comment #15 b) I can't tell what differences in source might be responsible for incomplete page view
Attached file Source comparison
Attachment compares add-on-manager-page source codes It is a hybrid-pdf, with AOO, LibreOffice or other suitable software you can get access to the spreadsheet source. Differences between sources is market by yellow cell highlighting. Missing line or similar will show "line difference" for all following table rows. c) Much less hyperlinks and media shown in page info, I can't tell caused by what difference in source.
d) Tony's suspect concerning SeaMonkey Version Compatibility (Bug 1145504 comment #15) hits at least a part of the truth. I did a sample test with links listed in attachment "LinkComparison" what are not listed below "2.42a1 Build 20151111021032", all my tests showed "Not available for SeaMonkey 2.42a1" d1) unfortunately this current behavior makes add-on "AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey" useless for the propaganda pane d2) So this one might be INVALID (I will need some more research) or it's RFE concerning SM propaganda pane with condition that "AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey" will be bundled or something else, I will have to think about that.
