Reproducible with Firefox 43.0 (20151208100201), Latest Nightly 45.0a1
Affected platforms: Windows 10 x86, Ubuntu 13.10 x64 and Mac OS X 10.11.1

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox with a clean profile.
2. Go to about:preferences#search and set Bing as default search engine.
3. Type a search term in the location bar (e.g. yahoo) and click Yes on the suggestions notification bar.
4. Type the same search term in the search toolbar.

Expected results:
Search suggestions are the same.

Actual:
'yahoo.com' is displayed only in the suggestions from the search toolbar.

Additional notes:
1. This issue is reproducible only if Bing, eBay and Amazon.com are set as default search engine.
2. Please see the attached screenshot.
3. Not sure if this is a regression. We will check as soon as possible.
If I got this correctly, the search bar returns a "yahoo.com" entry, while the urlbar doesn't show it.
This is not a regression, but a design decision.

We didn't yet figure out how to show to the user where urls come from when they come from a search engine, thus we decided for now to filter out url-looking things from the urlbar search suggestions.
OK, good to know. Not a blocker for 43 release.
Kev this sounds like your area, n-i to you to make sure you agree.
