To give a particular example, I could find and open the strings.xml.in file in IntelliJ before using 'Search Anywhere' (double shift) menu. The file no longer shows up since the code move.
android_strings.dtd don't show up as well.

Note: These are the files I'm currently working on which is why I noticed they don't get indexed anymore. There are probably many more.

Jon -- thanks for the report.  The new world order will address this: see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Simple_Firefox_for_Android_build#Developing_Firefox_for_Android_in_Android_Studio_or_IDEA_IntelliJ, which isn't quite correct just yet.

So this is WONTFIX due to deprecation and replacement with a better system.  I'll email the list shortly.
