From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020131 BuildID: 20010131 after going to www.davicom.com.tw and hitting stop (because it can't resolve the host), going anywhere else fails Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.type http://www.davicom.com.tw in the urlbox + enter 2.wait a second or 2, hit stop 3.try to go anywhere else (ie www.google.com) Actual Results: gets hung trying to resolve www.google.com Expected Results: doesn't get hung in the resolver The nameserver for www.davicom.com.tw seems to be down, which is why it never resolves, but Mozilla should handle this nicely instead of getting stuck. I hope someone looks into this before www.davicom.com.tw's nameserver goes back up :)
wfm using build 2002020103 on Win2k. Resolving davicom.com.tw did not work, pressed stop, entered www.google.com, got stuck 2 seconds, but it finally ended resolving www.google.com and worked. I do not think this is mozilla's problem, as other browsers have the same behaviour: IE6, Netscape 4.76 (stuck for 2 seconds, then load google successfully).

here (OS/2 build) it doesn't resolve anything else for a minute or 2, if it was only 2 seconds, then it would be no problem.
Bummer, site is back up. Maybe there is some other site that takes a long time to resolve that would show the problem?
