Steps to reproduce:

Enable Multi-Process in Options
Install HTML Validator add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/html-validator/
Double-click the extension's button

Actual results:
"oTidyBrowser is null" appears in the Browser Console and the validated page source does not appear.

Expected results:
Page Source appears with results of validation
Blocks: e10s-addons
Possible dup of Bug 1207482 although it appears broken in Fx 44 even with e10s off.
Assume it.
