QR Scanner starts on device
Expected results:
WebIDE should connect to FX on device
Jan, I believe you are using Linux on your laptop? Could you test out WiFi connection there?
From IRC, it seem like the reporter fails to display the QR code in WebIDE for some reason.

Not exactly, I can see a QR, just not long enough to connect...

Wasn't able to reproduce the issue (with Firefox OS 2.6 instead of Firefox 42 on Android):
- Start Firefox OS, enable Wi-Fi debugging
- Start Firefox 42 on Linux desktop
- Open WebIDE
- Select Wi-Fi device
Results:
- WebIDE doesn't time out
- The QR scanner starts on device
- After a long time of moving around, the WebIDE QR window and device QR scanner both disappear (that's not a time out, but a confusing-looking successful connection)

Tried the following:
not pressing scan and remember on phone and waited 20sec -> no time out
pressing just scan - > works
So, it's usable, just not that comfortable regrading next session.
