User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0 Build ID: 20151208200940 Steps to reproduce: Uninstalled the 32bit version of Firefox, and installed the new 64bit Firefox 43 release. Signed into my sync account and waited, but nothing was pulled across. Actual results: Definitely signed in but no bookmarks have come across, none of my preferences, add ons etc Expected results: Upon signing in I expected the bookmarks to arrive, my preferences and my add ons. .

Also just to add since re-installing the x86 version to get my bookmarks etc back, it seems that because I signed into sync on the 64bit one it has wiped my whole sync account which is not great.

Although it might be a bit extreme, Mozilla takes users' data privacy seriously and your Sync data is encrypted based on your password. Resetting your password will make your server data inaccessible. Although the reset message warns about this (see attached screenshot), we are still sorry about the inconvenience caused: "Resetting your password will erase your browsing data from our servers. Any data on your devices will remain untouched. Begin the reset process by entering your email below." I'm closing this as "works for me", because the system is behaving as expected, but reports like yours are useful for us to re-evaluate this system behavior and make the experience better.
