I'm running Nightly (last updated Dec 9). I'm on a Windows 10 machine and use a track wheel external mouse. What I'm describing below happens on any number of sites and although I've seen this behaviour before, it was intermittent before. Now, it's happening on multiple webpages (wikipedia, flickr, bugzilla (!). If I go to the same URL on Chrome, the below behaviour doesn't happen. Basically what happens is I'm scrolling down a webpage using my trackwheel on the mouse, and the page goes 'blank'. If I scroll up and back down, it catches up and reloads. It doesn't feel like it's loading the page, per say, but just not showing the image. This makes the browser unusable :( I have a screenshot of what this looks like (attached).

btw, the page scrolls if I mouse tap on the scroll bar, just not while using the vertical scroll wheel.
I am unfortunately unable to reproduce on Ubuntu or Windows 7. How frequently does this occur now? Does it only occur when scrolling quickly, or does that not matter? Would you be able to find a regression window for this? And could you also please attach your about:support details.

Karen, if you're willing to track down a regression window on this, the mozregression tool makes it a pretty straightforward process (10-15min of your time typically). It handles all the downloading and running of different builds with you basically just having to answer whether each one reproduces the problem or not. If you want to give it a shot, more info is available at http://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/.
I've been able to intermittently reproduce the issue on the Android version history wiki page shown in the screenshot. Feels like APZC checkerboarding to me (and would make sense with the reported STR since it's currently only enabled for mouse wheel and touch screen scrolling on Windows at the moment). Karen, does setting "layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled" to false in about:config make the problem go away?
This is likely the same issue as bug 1222190. The STR for that bug include putting the device to sleep/hibernation and then scrolling after bringing it back up. Karen - is that the case here as well?

Ryan - I can try the about:config thing. Kats - I do often put my desktop to sleep and then wake it up in the morning. I only restart it once about every 3 - 4 days.

Ok, I'm going to assume this is the same issue as bug 1222190 which I can reproduce now, so I'll work on it.
Depends on: 1222190

Kats - I did actually restart my computer this morning and so far, I haven't been able to reproduce today. So likely it sounds like it's the same bug then. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
Calling this fixed by bug 1222190 based on comment 8. Karen, feel free to reopen the bug if the problem reappears.
