1233139 - Page Search location at bottom of page. Can this be moved to top of page?

Steps to reproduce:

While this is just a simple issue - it does have a great impact on my daily usage of Firefox.


Actual results:

When I click on the 3 line on the right of the main tool bar, I find the search option.  When I click this, it opens the search feature at the bottom of the page.  I do a lot of company work and have my screens in a portrait setting.  This means I have to cursor down to the bottom of the page to enter the search terms.  This is just as annoying as apple mail where you have to scroll down the entire email to activate images.


Expected results:

Is it possible, that when clicked, the search bar appears in the main menu bar.  Or possible considering there is already a web search space, why not have an option to search the page instead of the web.  I have found an add on that moves the search activation feature to the main tool bar so I dont have to press the three buttons - but it does not change the page search location.
