When the code is long it is sometimes useful to be able to wrap or unwrap some functions so it's out of sight.

A bit like SublimeText using a triangle to wrap "‣" and to unwrap "▾".

Code folding now exists within a pref: devtools.debugger.features.code-folding

David: is there a plan to make devtools.debugger.features.code-folding on by default? Or perhaps expose it as a user setting in the DevTools settings panel?

Karl: is this enough for you? Are you ok just switching the pref for now?

Very cool. Note that this is buggy. See the screencast.
tested in 68.0a1 (2019-05-13) (64-bit) on macOS 10.14

The arrows are flickering when moving the cursor in the column and disappears when the mouse is not moving.

Thanks Karl. I filed this as bug 1551418.

At the moment there are no plans to make devtools.debugger.features.code-folding true, but hopefully in the future when we can get the hover working without flicker.
