Steps to reproduce:

1) type in the search box

2) click the magnifier button


Actual results:

1) a popdown opens every time but the popdown is useless becaue I use custom search engines so no icons display.

2) a useless popdown opens that doesn't even display the names of the engines present. All that's shown is a magnifier icon.


Expected results:

1) typing in the Search Box should NOT cause it to open. I use the search box for many note taking tasks and do not want it opening of its own volition.

2) clicking the magnifier button should cause the dropdown to open with a written description of the name of the engine.
