RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 366945

People

(Reporter: jb99, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Build ID: 20151210084639

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open Firefox (Linux / Ubuntu) and do some Browsing
2) Open a link on a Webpage in a new Tab, by clicking the mouse middle button
3) Continue surfing / close Tabs
4) Click the Mouse middle Button on any site you want, but not on a link

Actual results:

A new Tabs opens with the content of the previous Link clicked with the mouse middle button

(The Problem seems not to come up at a fresh started Firefox, but if you go browsing for a while it affects)

Expected results:

I guess nothing should happen at all, if you click mouse middle Button by mistake (this happens on ThinkPad touchpads from time to time) an there is no Link Firefox should do nothing.

Don't now whether it is security relevant, because it might be a class destruction problem.
