123458 - certs not showing up in Others tab after importing some user certs

build 2002020103 on win2k
1) go to phonebook
2) search for "[e-mail]"
3) click on "import certificate"
expected result: adds lord's cert to my "other people" certdb
actual result: crashes mozilla everytime, even with new profile

also crashes when you try to import cert for "Douglas Bigelow".

But doesn't crash when you import certs for [e-mail] or [e-mail]

Note: using 3.4 doesn't crash, but certs issued to [e-mail] either do
not load or are not displayed in the certmanager.  cert issued to
[e-mail] do display.

Moreover, the cert for lord is different from the cert for ssaux. The email
address does not appear in the subject name for lord, but does for ssaux.

This may affect how we display the cert or whether NSS finds it.

Even with Communicator 4.77, I can't import the cert issued to 
"[e-mail]" (serial# 54:98) from "phonebook.mcom.com"

is this because these certs don't have the netscape cert type bits set?  We took
those bits out to be more standards-compliant, maybe it's affecting the non-PSM
netscape clients.  just a thought.
