After logging into Hotmail, I get a popup that says "Unknown socket type.
Loading aborted." Clicking ok leaves me on the Hotmail login screen. Netscape
4.75 logs in fine, as does Opera.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to www.hotmail.com
2. Login to Hotmail
3. Click "No" on Password Manager
Actual Results: Socket error appears. Hitting OK leaves me at the login screen.
I can't get into Hotmail at all.
Expected Results: Log into Hotmail.

invalid
unkown socket error means = Please install PSM. PSM is needed for HTTPS connections.
If you used the installer: Please don't unselect PSM during the installation.
If you used RPMS= Use a RPM with psm (should have psm in his name)
Mozilla 0.9.8 has better error message...
