Thanks for filing this bug, SpeciesX. libhwui.so is an Android system library, not an NPAPI plugin. I will move this bug to the "Firefox for Android" Bugzilla component.

My girlfriend has been seeing these on her Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

I'm sure that she'd be happy to allow me to test anything on her device as necessary.

The stack is completely within Android code. Is there something specific that triggers this? Do you get a different stack if you crash with a nightly debug build? https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/tinderbox-builds/mozilla-central-android-api-11-debug/

I can easily reproduce this bug on this page. Simply try to scroll completely down and up, first i get black and white artifacts and then Firefox crash.
Hi guys,
I am able to reproduce this bug in Aurora 48.0a2 (08.05.2016) on a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro Tablet.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to www.olx.ro, www.9gag.com, www.espn.com or other scrollable sites.
2. Pan around the site for a bit.
 Expected: Normal site panning behaviour.
Actual: The app will crash after a while.
