Details

The simple notifications from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/notification are shown properly, but the more complex notifications from http://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html are not. The log on the page shows that the notifications have been "queued for display", but never "showed" (sic). Notifications from https://www.fimfiction.net aren't shown, either. XUL notifications (when libnotify is disabled using the Disable System Alerts addon) are shown properly. Reproduced with: Arch's Firefox 43.0.1 (GTK3) My FDE 45.0a2 (git 4697d2c) Nightly 46.01a (2016-01-01-03-03-30-mozilla-central 22f51211915bf7daff076180847a7140d35aa353) Arch Linux x86_64 GNOME Shell 3.18.3 libnotify 0.7.6 Also kindly reproduced by someone running Fedora 23 with KDE (firefox-43.0-1.fc23).
There is no D-Bus traffic for the missing notifications, so the problem seems to be internal.
Still an issue (FDE 47.0a2).
Thanks for the report! I think this is fixed by bug 1233086, which should be in tomorrow's Nightly. With m-c, I'm able to see libnotify notifications from http://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html after authorizing and clicking "show".
