In Preferences->Mail&Newsgroups->addressing,
the "limit the Collected Address book to..." checkbox & text should be disabled
if none of the above checkboxes are checked.

confirming, when no addresses are collected there shouldnt be a limit of them

It seems that the preference can go away with Bug 158436. Marking this bug as
blocked by that one.
If 158436 is fixed then this one should be closed.
