STR: Unsure. Based on the logs (attached) it seems like mozAlarm called back Calendar and then the notification controller didn't return the correct notifications.
Results:
You get odd notifications. In my case, I got 2:
* EVENT A started 5 days ago
* EVENT B started last week
Side note: This might be related to bug 1232256
Repro rate: While dogfooding, I saw it once a week ago, and another time about 1 month ago. I don't remember if these notification were fired in the first place (as it happened a week before). That's why I'm guessing bug 1232256 might be the root issue.

[Blocking Requested - why for this release]: Even though this happens in some punctual occasions, this can hurt the user's trust in the product.
