Steps to reproduce:
Install Firefox 43 in Windows and Linux
Use the same profile
Install third-party addons
Actual results:
Since Firefox 43, addons are being turned off every time you switch between builds (same version but different operating systems). No notification of any kind is shown.
Expected results:
In previous versions of Firefox, addons would remain active provided the version numbers matched. I could not find a bug explaining why this was changed. At the very least there should be a Preference allowing the user to deactivate this as it is not the expected behaviour.
