User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Build ID: 20160105164030
Steps to reproduce:
I've set up a new sync account. Syncing bookmarks from one device to the other works, while the other direction fails. Addons are synced correctly. Other things might be missing too.
Additional details: While every other user witch a similar problem seems to be using Linux, both my machines run Windows 10.
I found that this problem might be related to Unitymedia, which is in fact my Internetprovider.
Attached is a sample log, they all look more or less similar.
Actual results:
Firefox tries to sync forever, never actually does.
Expected results:
Firefox should sync my bookmarks as normal.

Thanks for the log - the errors in that log are almost identical to those found in bug 1118958 (Error: NS_ERROR_NET_RESET) which does indeed imply the issue isn't limited to Linux. Is it possible for you to try syncing from a different network (eg, work or someone elses network) just to verify it works correctly when not connected to UnityMedia?
Flags: needinfo?(lukas.morawietz)
I was able to sync correctly using USB tethering into my mobile network.

Additional information: Syncing back on UnityMedia network worked fine immediately after (i guess because there was nothing to sync), but now it doesn't work again (I'll add another log for that, altough it looks pretty similar to me).

Yeah, that's the same error (and the fact it worked immediately after almost certainly is due to the fact it had nothing to Sync). I'm going to close this as a dupe of bug 1118958 and hopefully we can find a mitigation at our end.
Thanks for your time in helping narrow this down.
