This is NOT a duplicate of bug 123399. Bug 123399 is related to COMPOSER. This
is a bug relating to MAIL!!!!!!!! How the HELL did this bug get marked as a dup
of something totally unrelated?!?!?!? I'm reopening the bug.
This is a problem with the MAIL program in the Linux version of Mozilla. The
Windows mail program works fine. The Linux mail program will NOT allow the user
to send a message.

Ahh i'm sorry. There was a general bug with composer in that build and for some
days, which also affected mail-compose. See the dups.
Can you please try this again with a build later than from 2002-02-06 11:00.
If it still doesn't work in new builds, this is not a dup of bug 123399.

Works for me:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020208
Strange. It even works on the 0.9.8 milestone build now, but it didn't yesterday.
This is weird.
