>>> My Info: Win7_64, Nightly 46, 32bit, ID 20160121030208 STR: 1. Open new tab (click "New Tab" button or press Ctrl+T) 2. Open new tab (click "New Tab" button or press Ctrl+T) 3. Focus location bar 4. Hover mouse over the tab from Step 1, hold right mouse button (don't move mouse pointer after this step) 5. Press "p" on keyboard 6. Release right mouse button Result: Context menu and location bar popup menu with suggestions are displayed at the same time Expectations: Either A or B A) Popup menu from location bar should hide when context menu appears B) Popup menu from location bar should not show when mouse buttons are pressed Notes: 1) When I need to pin some tabs, I usually use accesskey in context menu to do that quickly So I repeat {right-click a tab, then press "к"} several times. Simetimes I do a mistake and perform exactly STR above. Given that urlbar has some timeout before showing the popup, context menu has a chance to be placed under the location bar popup menu, like on my screenshot. 2) There're a lot of similar bugs. Most of them would be solved by making searchbar/urlbar suggestions hide when context menu appears. But I don't see any work related to that exactly.

Hi Arni, I have tested this issue on latest Firefox (44.0)release and latest Nightly (47.0a1) release. I have followed your provided steps but in my environment the location bar opens instantly when typing something inside so the context menu is always displayed over it, and not under it as in your screenshot. Am I doing something wrong ? Firefox: 47.0a1, Build ID: 20160201030241, User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0 Firefox:44.0, Build ID: 20160123151951, User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0 Also, can you please test this on the latest Firefox release (44.0) or latest Nightly (47.0a1, https://nightly.mozilla.org/) and tell me if this still reproduces for you ? When doing this please use a new fresh Firefox profile. Thanks, Cosmin.

Everything described in comment 0 still happens. > 44 https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/r1ykuplul8b39z7/bug%201242765%20comment%202%20-%2044.webm > 47 https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/hrkpz3lqr1k6ky8/bug%201242765%20comment%202%20-%2047.webm Read Note (1). Probably you need to make smaller interval between Steps 5 and 6.

Hi Arni, I have tested again this on latest Firefox (44.0) release and latest Nightly (47.0a1) release and I have managed to randomly reproduce it with following steps: 1. Release right mouse button, but at the same time press "p" or any key. Step #5 needs to be done very quickly and you must synchronize release mouse button with pressing "p" on keyboard. The reproduction rate is somewhere around 5 out of 20 tries but depends a lot on how fast you are. Considering this, I will assign a component for this issue. Thanks, Cosmin.
