gfxImageFormat is now just a typedef of gfx::SurfaceFormat. Before it is removed entirely, however, bug 1243605 should be fixed.

Here's a draft patch for removing gfxImageFormat from bug 1209812. It won't be directly usable here, but might be a useful reference.
