Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0
Build ID: 20160131030347

Steps to reproduce:

I want using Developer Tools.

Actual results:

Firefox Addons trashing Developer Tools. Modifies page, adds his scripts, CSS.
It interferes with using Developer Tools.

Expected results:

Optional disable Firefox Addons Page modifications.

First way:
Permission for page:
Disable permission "Allow Firefox Addons modification page".

Second way:
Option in Firefox Developer Tools Settings "Don't allow Firefox Addons modification page (when tools is open)"
Component: Untriaged → Developer Tools
OS: Unspecified → All
Hardware: Unspecified → All
This can be useful also for ordinary users pages.
You can disable "Allow Firefox Addons modification page" permission if necessary.
Do you have an example add-on that in mind here that was causing trouble with DevTools? That may help focus the idea.

Each addon which add his style to HTML elements, CSS files, JS files.

Changes the appearance or behavior of the page.
Trashing Inspector, Style Editor, Debugger, Memory, Performance, sometimes Console

Adblock, uBlock, Greasemonkey, Select Like a Boss etc.

Each which use mage-mod but not only.

Regular users also can use this.
If you want to temporarily disable the add-ons for a particular page.

I just asked if there are plans for implementation, now or in the near future? Can not at all?
