Ticket 1185393, which requests to remove Pocket integration by default, was incorrectly closed. This is a more narrow follow-up simply asking to stop adding the Pocket button to the default toolbar, as requested in the first comment.

There are several changes trying to reduce Pocket integration underway, as can be seen in ticket 1215694.

Yeah - it should have been WONTFIX.

This is also WONTFIX - we intentionally add it there. You are obviously free to disagree with that decision, but at this stage the decision stands.

I think you might be misunderstanding the scope of that bug - it's a system addon which is quite different from a regular addon.

In current versions Pocket integration is built-in. There is work underway to turn it into an add-on.
This will allow removing Pocket integration.


Please do not mark tickets as resolved until a solution has been implemented.

I don't think that's correct. If you are referring to bug 1215694, note that it is fixed in 46 and no "pocket" addon appears.

That's not how bugs work - no solution will be implemented here, so WONTFIX.
