124656 - Application frezes when editing mail

** Observed with 2002-02-08 Win32 build **

This happens a lot to me when editing mail messages with
the current trunk build. Probably someone has filed a bug 
on this already but I would like file this one to make sure
that it is being taken care.

I haven't narrowed the exact steps that cause this freeze but
once it happens, I have to terminate the application without
any chance of saving what I have edited to that point. 
Here are some of the things I do when I typically see this
problem:

1. I am replying to or forwarding as inline a previously received message.
2. When I select an area of text to delete.
3. When I try to insert a cursor into a spot among the existing
   lines of text.
4. When I scroll the window too fast.
