Details
Don't know how to reproduce it - but the error was somewhat like:
www.xyz.com did not work (errormessage was "can't access / ..." or so)
but
xyz.com worked!
after clearing memory and disk cache all variations worked again.

my setting is: Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network: When
the page is out of date
