From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020210
BuildID: 2002021006
When typing in to the URL bar, the search pick from the list is unclickable. The
click falls through to the underlying window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type a string into the URL bar
2.Click on "Search (search engine) for (string)
Actual Results: Mozilla ignoes the click for the search term and instead will
just let the click fall through to the window underneath.
Expected Results: Should query the search engine.

For me this does _not_ work in 2002-02-08-08. It _does_ work in 2002-02-07-07.
At the same time as this regressed I also stopped being able to scroll the
bookmarks menu by hovering over the little arrows. I suspect the two are
related....
Confirming on Win2K, build 2002021108. Broken somewhere between 8 and 10 Feb.

Is this bug related to using a search engine to apply a search to the current
contents of the URL bar? If so, confirming still present on 2002021206 linux.
Still seeing it on Win98. Removing the "under Linux" part of summary. Sorry for
the spam.
Summary: Cannot select search from URL bar under Linux → Cannot select search from URL bar

(Win98SE here)
Also, instead of slicking search with my mouse (which doesn't work for me
either) i usually used the down arrow of my keyboard to navigate to the search
item. That doesn't work anymore. However, I'm able to use the up arrow of my
keyboard to reach the search item. When using autocomplete for URLs, I also have
to use the up arrow to navigate the URLs in reverse order. It seems that the
down arrow doesn't work in the URL bar anymore.

You have to click the "Search" button TWICE in order for it to work in Win2K

This works now, probably because of the fix for the bookmarks scrolling bug.
