From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.8+) Gecko/20020206
BuildID: 2002020611
The url shows to links at the top of the content section, just below the
javascript scroller. These links do not work in mozilla. Mozilla does not even
change the mouse icon. The scrolling display above has layers inside the outer
layer. the inner layers are clipped to view only within the outer layer. It
seems that mozilla sends mouse events to the inner layers even in regions where
they should not be rendered.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to the url
2.click on the Vidyakash 2002 link
3.click on the area just below the scrolling display, and near the left edge.
4.click and drag to the right
Actual Results: nothing happens for step 2, not even mouse pointer change
for steps 3 and 4, you will notice that when the next entry in the scroller
moves up, it is selected.
Expected Results: mouse should change to hand, should follow link for step 2
When you click and drag across the area where the inner layers are, but are
invisible, the mouse event moves through to the inner layer, and the text is
selected. Mouse events shouldn't move through to hidden layers.
