Using 'mach run --debug' or running bin/gdb manually, I can no longer debug Fennec:
Using package org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown.
Launching org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown...
Starting: Intent { cmp=org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown/.App }
Error type 3
Error: Activity class {org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown/org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown.App} does not exist.
/home/gbrown/.mozbuild/android-device/jimdb-x86/bin/../utils/gdbinit:141: Error in sourced command file:
Error while launching org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown.
(gdb)

It looks like jimdb is launching something like: shell am start -n org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown/.App -W
I think that needs to change to something like: shell am start -n org.mozilla.fennec_gbrown/org.mozilla.gecko.BrowserApp -W

Looks like this was fixed by https://github.com/darchons/android-gdbutils/commit/83f8b0b5543e1c0d69148aba7b00ae1cfafc055c.
