Steps to reproduce
1. Open https://nationalgeographic.com/
2. Navigate to the magazine section and tap on the Reader Mode Icon
3. [...] > Page > Save as PDF
Expected: No grey boxes on the bottom or right side/

I can no longer reproduce this on a recent copy of the beta version (48) of Firefox for Android, testing with http://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/2016/07/forensic-science-justice-crime-evidence/ .
Are you still seeing this? Can you provide a link to test with? :-)
