Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Nightly 47.0a1 (BuildID: 20160218030349) with new profile
2. Open "about:preferences#privacy"
3. Switch the history mode to "Use custom settings for history"
4. Change below settings (please refer to attached image)
4-a. Check off "Remember my browsing and download history"
4-b. Check off "Remember search and form history"
4-c. Check on "Clear history when Nightly closes"
5. Exit Nightly
6. Confirm Windows Task Manager


Actual results:

Firefox process won't end.


Expected results:

Firefox process should end.

I backed that patch out because it was seriously breaking our build and test infrastructure. I wouldn't be the one to fix what you're experiencing, since it wasn't my patch to begin with.
