Once in a while, there is a bug affecting the style editor.

There is a double view being displayed. And if you click inside the CSS. then navigate again through the list. It opens a third, and then a 4th window.

This was on Firefox Nightly 47.0a1 (2016-02-21) but it has been going on for a while. Clean profile. 0 addons. Not specific to any site but happens here and then. This time it was when inspecting http://lohaco.jp/

I'm guessing from comment 0 that you didn't manage to get a set of steps to reproduce this easily unfortunately.
It still seems pretty bad so prioritizing accordingly, but without STR, it's going to be hard to fix.

Gabriel might have an idea though, because he knows a lot about the codemirror editors we use here, and it looks like that's the element that get duplicated.

Karl: I can't reproduce the issue for now. Can you confirm it still occurs for you? Which OS are using?

Downgrading to P2 until we can get actionable STRs.

Just happened to me again.
I'm trying to reproduce exactly the steps to see if I can be consistent.

1. Clean profile of Firefox
2. Go to http://lohaco.jp/
3. Request Inspect Element
4. Switch to Style Editor
5. With User agent switcher addons on, choose a different UA (I pick up Firefox Android)
6. Reload the page
7. go to the inspector and back to the Style Editor
8. Go through style tabs.
9. When reaching http://askul.c.yimg.jp/resource/css/jquery.ui.theme.css?191112069715260
   the window splits in 2, then in 3, and so on.

Good news(?)  I can still reproduce.
Bad news     It doesn't always happen.

On http://lohaco.jp, every time I reload the page the style editor fails when trying to load sources (the loading spinner remains forever). I believe this is due to bug 1224558.

Trying with other websites which don't trigger this particular issue, I'm still unable to reproduce though.

Can you specify which User agent switcher addon you are using exactly? Is this step mandatory?
Maybe you mean the RDM tool of the devtools and not an addon? (not sure because you mentioned using a clean profile).
