In home page, Click on Mozilla (In the right corner) 3. Now, come to bottom of the page by pressing CTRL+END. ( Look at Get Mozilla updates – sign up) 4. Enter the following data in the “YOUR EMAIL HERE” field alagar.samy@gmail.com.in.co.org and do press Sign me up button. You can see it’s not throwing any error message for an above invalid email address as It contain .com.in.co.org , Nowhere an email should not have this extension. 5. Please check the check box of I’m okay with Mozilla handling my info as explained in this Privacy Policy 6. Please do click on sign me up button. It should display the error message as invalid email, but I’m getting the above message. Which should come only for valid and successful registration. Actual results: You can see it’s not throwing any error message for an above invalid email address as It contain .com.in.co.org , Nowhere an email should not have this extension. That is not an invalid email address. That is a valid TLD ".org" and the format of the email address is valid. The only way we could determine that it was invalid is to attempt to send email to it or do various (error prone) DNS lookups. We don't show an error message at submit time for this kind of thing because it would take too long and we get a lot of submissions. We show an error if the email address isn't formatted correctly (e.g. has no @ symbol or more than one), but that's about all we can do for now. We did at one time try to determine if an email was valid but it resulted in too many false negatives and we had to disable it.
