Details

mozilla 2002020406 (0.9.8 release) on Win2000 my title bar keeps flashing/blinking, and won't stop no matter what i do. this is a real annoyance (PITA). i'm using tabbed browsing, and i think it started blinking when i set a page to load, went to the mail window, then an error occured loading the page, but i'm not sure. i've tried minimizing all windows, and i can't see any error dialog to close, i've tried clicking on each tab, minimizing, maximizing, and manually reloading most (not all) tabs. it's the first time i've seen this, but it's pretty darned annoying.
tried right-click->reload all tabs, no change. tried going back to mail, clicking a bit, reading all new mail, no change. tried closing the problematic tabs (leaving non-problematic tabs open), no change. nothing seems to stop it. naturally, the button on the Windows taskbar also flashes when the browser window is not the active window.
I've seen this too - only happens on occasion and I haven't ever been able to consistantly reproduce it. I thought it might have been a problem with Win XP since I only saw it once I swiched from 2000 but I don't see this in any other applications.
looks a lot like bug 116074. marking dup (if i can :-). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 116074 ***
