[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Install the latest QuickTime 7.7.9
2. Launch Firefox and navigate to http://trailers.apple.com
3. In the video controls bar, over the volume bar - hold the left click and drag towards right. 

[Expected result]:
Nothing visual happens.

[Actual result]:
Two vertical lines appear. Please see the screenshot for more details.

[Regression range]:
Not a recent regression - reproducible also with Firefox 30.

[Additional notes]:
Reproducible also when using older versions of QuickTime: so far tried on 7.7.6, 7.6, 7.5.5.

This is a plugins bug.

We're not going to track quicktime bugs because we're removing support imminently.
