Details

There are currently no automated tests for the persistence of past downloads in the Places database. Before the full testing across restarts in bug 1258194 is implemented, we could just simulate a download while the Downloads View in the Library is hidden, then check that the view loads the stored metadata and displays the information accordingly. Different types of downloads that are not already persisted in "downloads.json" should be tested, including downloads blocked by Application Reputation that have been permanently blocked or unblocked.
