[Note]:
- follow-up from bug 1214261 affecting scrolling with OS X trackpad
[Affected versions]:
- latest Nightly 48.0a1 2016-03-21
- latest Aurora 47.0a2 2016-03-22
- Firefox 46 beta 4 with e10s and APZ enabled
[Affected platforms]:
- OSX 10.9.5
[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Open https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8673374 in a new tab
2. Scroll up and down using the trackpad
[Expected results]:
- Scrolling is smooth
[Actual results]:
- When scrolling with the trackpad (fast scrolling), the black borders are sometimes flickering.
[Regression range]:
Issue reproduces with Nightly 45.0a1 from 2015-11-01 so this is not a regression.
[Additional notes]:
- I couldn't reproduce it on Win 7 64-bit and Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit

Sorry - I thought this was something else but actually it's just regular checkerboarding. I can reproduce it when scrolling fast, and confirmed with the APZ minimap that it occurs when the viewport goes outside the displayport. Duping to the checkerboarding metabug.
