We need to build one more beta for Thunderbird 45, but m-beta and c-beta have moved on. After investigation and discussion, we want to try to build the beta from c-esr45 which requires changes to the update channels in buildbot configs

Switch of plans: we'll build from comm-beta but tell it to pull mozilla from mozilla-esr45
Summary: Temporarily use comm-esr45 to build a Thunderbird beta → Temporarily use mozilla-esr45 to build a Thunderbird beta

It Should Just Work (TM) :)
Make sure to graft the commit to the production branch before starting the release build.

One important thing. https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-beta/file/tip/mail/confvars.sh#l40 sets ACCEPTED_MAR_CHANNEL_IDS=thunderbird-comm-release, which means that the new installs will be accepting MAR files only for this channel.

normally in ship-it we just use the fields at the top.
will we need to specify other/different ship-it fields to properly use these repos?

So I should set MAR ids like in the comm-beta default, that is like https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/comm-beta/file/a84eab12150a/mail/confvars.sh:
# This should usually be the same as the value MAR_CHANNEL_ID.
# If more than one ID is needed, then you should use a comma separated list
# of values.
ACCEPTED_MAR_CHANNEL_IDS=thunderbird-comm-beta,thunderbird-comm-release
# The MAR_CHANNEL_ID must not contain the following 3 characters: ",\t "
MAR_CHANNEL_ID=thunderbird-comm-beta
