We've been talking about Tab Queues as a differentiator from other browsers with clear value even for new users, so we should try to explain this feature better to more users!

I've been thinking/talking about what "saving" links in Firefox means in the contextual hint popup as well as settings, and I think "open in background" might make more sense. One first impression I got from someone was that "saving" the link gave them the impression it was more permanent, like bookmarking or something; once I explained that the desktop corollary is "shift-click" or opening a tab in the background, the person got really excited and said they loved that feature would use it all the time.

There was talk in bug 1220932 of revisiting the copy at some point, and this seems like a good time to do it. If we're hesitant about it, we could even put this behind a switchboard flag.

I think one of the issues with "open in background" was that we actually don't do anything in the background just yet. Just for reference this is bug 1182916.
